Sneak Peek- Keith & Chastity

We had such a blast with Keith and Chastity! It felt more like a vacation than a wedding shoot! We spent the weekend in San Antonio with these two love-birds at the amazing Omni Riverwalk. It was beyond fabulous! Keith & Chastity–I hope you newlyweds are enjoying your time in New York! So jealous! Try not to be too bummed you decided not to smuggle me in your luggage. I’m coping:-)Here are a few sneak peeks of your amazing wedding! By the way, loved the “tie the knot” idea, Chas–I think this one’s going on the wall;-)

Enjoy !

Chastity’s Bridal Session {Waco Wedding Photography}

Talk about picture perfect–Chastity’s bridal session is just that! An overcast afternoon creates a lovely even light that surrounds us with gentle pink hues. This beautiful bride-to-be is absolutely flawless; every detail is to perfection. Her dress and veil are gorgeous in true Chastity fashion–completely decked out in diamonds and sparkles, but hardly outshining Chastity’s radiance. At each location, we hear the hush of “oooh, wow,” as people pause to sneak a glance at the etherial bride. Simply stunning! Oh, and the amazing gown is from Georgio’s Bridal.

Justin+Ashlee Married! {Waco Wedding Photography}

It’s finally here–Justin and Ashlee’s wedding! The gentle song of violins beckoned guests on this lovely summer day to witness the ceremony of two wonderful people so much in love. The event boasted a classic color pairing, with brilliant magenta roses and the strong tones of navy blue. The men appeared rather dapper in their navy suits and the ladies looked fabulous in their coordinated summertime dresses and magenta heels. Now, we all know the bride’s entrance is always a big deal, but Ashlee’s entrance was exceptionally remarkable! She rode in on a horse-drawn carriage and led down the aisle by both her father and grandfather. The special reading from Justin’s sister and a beautiful ballad sung by the unbelievably talented Emily Wilson capped off an especially sweet ceremony. The reception was delightful with indoor/outdoor mingling and sparklers to end the night. The beautiful rustic setting of Moon River Ranch, paired with the abundance of love from friends and family made this wedding truly memorable. Congratulations, Justin & Ashlee! We were truly honored to be a part of your spectacular wedding:-)Special thanks to my wonderful second photographer, Suzie, for all your help.

Wedding Sparklers {Waco Wedding Photography}

I just love sparklers — especially at the end of a wedding! It’s such a bright and festive way to send the newlyweds off! I’ve always wanted to do a shot with sparklers with the bride and groom at a wedding, but for one reason or another, it just never happened… until now. At my first meeting with Justin and Ashlee I talked about doing a shot with sparklers (I was determined to get the shot this wedding!). Everyone was completely on-board with the idea and knew I could bring a simple idea to fruition … and here is the result: Wouldn’t you want me to shoot your wedding? (By the way, this shot is straight-out-of-camera with no photoshop work. I even showed Justin and Ashlee the image right after I took it)

For those who are curious as to how I achieved this shot … my lovely and talented assistant ran around the couple with a sparkler as the bride and groom stood still.

Ashlee’s Bridal Session {Waco Wedding Photography}

Congratulations Ashlee! She and Justin just tied the knot this weekend and I’ve been waiting (rather anxiously) to post photos from her Bridal Session. There are no words to describe how amazingly beautiful Ashlee is–see for yourself–she’s absolutely breathtaking! (Gown by Georgio’s Bridal). Joining us on our excursion, was her puppydog (Georgia) who was also dressed-to-impress in Ashlee’s wedding colors. Georgia is definitely the most photogenic dog wearing a tutu I have ever seen! Ashlee chose an “urban-rural” mix for this session, so we explored Cameron Park with her pup and ended the shoot in downtown. Ashlee gave me the “I think you’re crazy glance” as we pulled into a dingy alley to shoot. Trust me, I know what I’m doing;-)Oh, and this last photo at the bridge–Ashlee’s idea. What can I say, she’s awesome! Despite (minor) disbelief on location choice, she looked fantastic :-)… just wait until you see Ashlee and Justin on their wedding day (photos coming soon)!
