Keith + Chastity {Engagement Session}

What a perfect couple these two make! Keith & Chastity are so fun to work with. Chastity’s eyes can light up a room–she has such a friendly disposition with a fantastic smile. Keith, while completely smitten with his fiancĂ©, maintained the cool-and-collected persona with a dash of ruggedly handsome, of course:-)We had a great time with them at this rustic setting and they were so natural with a camera and giant light following them all evening:-)Thank you, Keith & Chastity — Enjoy your sneak peek!

Erika {Senior Photography}

The day after the big prom extravaganza, we met up with Erika for her big photo shoot in downtown Lampasas. If you’ve never been there, Lampasas is a cute little community where it’s as if you’ve stepped back in time. The downtown is much the same as it was back in the turn of the twentieth century. Some structures from the 1880s are still being used today (now that’s solid construction!). We picked the old train depot to start our session. Side note: When I first met Erika, I almost couldn’t stop staring at her (sorry, I know, that sounds really creepy) because she’s SO pretty. She’s got that flawless skin and beautiful hair that I would have died to have when I was her age. Here I am, more than a decade older and still am a little jealous;-)Erika’s outfits were wonderfully trendy and her smile was so effortless– I even had to tell her to not smile few times, just to see if she could;-)Here’s a sneak from the fabulous session with an outstanding senior.

“P” Family {Temple Family Photography}

Recently, I had a photo session give-away at women’s conference in Academy. The conference was wonderful, encouraging, and so uplifting. Thank you, Vista Community Church and Bev DeSalvo for speaking truth and inspiring us to find joy in all situations. Speaking of joy, the “P” family were more than enthusiastic when they received this free photo session. Their little boys are too adorable! We roamed the open field, found sticks and captured candid family moments. Their oldest was a bit skeptical about the “fun” they were having until he was able to throw rocks in the river–aah, the simple things that bring such happiness:-)

Baby Major {Temple Newborn Photography}

This little guy came a whole month early and surprised us all! I am so jealous of Major’s mom–both my kiddos were rather late, and any woman who has carried to full term knows all too well the last month is not the “rainbows and lollipops” kind of dream TV makes it out to be. (Sorry if I burst any optimistic “third-trimester-paradise” bubbles out there).

Anyhoo… back to this ADORABLE little boy. I can’t help but smile looking at his photos. Major posed like a pro and didn’t mind at all being the center of attention:-)This guy is destined to be a sports guy–his mom has his room decked out in sports memorabilia and he even has a baseball signed by all the hospital staff from his birth (too cool!). Major is definitely an All-Star and I feel so privileged to share in this opportunity to photograph his early beginning. Special thanks and congratulations to Major’s wonderful parents:-)

Evan {Temple Newborn Photography}

With his adorable red hair and angelic demenor, this little guy was picture perfect! Mom, an antique Dr. Pepper paraphenalia collector, had some great props for the little guy to get cozy in. I just love these personal touches:-)Evan, you are such a sweet baby, I really enjoyed our afternoon together… Minus the part when you peed on me;-)
